Business analysis is a discipline that aims to study business needs while determining solutions to their underlying problems. These solutions often include an IT component, but may also include improving existing processes, organizational change, strategic planning, or a change in operating mode. The defined solution meets the company's need by solving problems, or by allowing the organization to take advantage of an opportunity. The solution can be subdivided into components including the information systems that support it, the processes that manage it, and the people who use it. Business analysis helps organizations to define the optimal solution to their needs, taking into account all the constraints (time, budget, regulations, etc.) in which the organization operates.
